PX3 stands on its own. You can adopt the standard, run it on your corpus,
and never touch anything else on this site.

The attestation layer is one thing built *on top of* the standard: it
records what a governed community has decided — after its governance has
decided it. It consumes PX3; it does not define it. The direction never
reverses.

An attestation act is already public: [the proof](/proof) — the standard's
own existence, anchored before any of it opened. That is the shape this
layer generalizes: **decide first, inscribe after, verify forever.**

One more layer stands beside all this: [the memory layer](/memory).
Attestation records what was decided; memory records what happened — and the
discipline of what an agent may do with each. Decide, inscribe, remember.
